Thank you Oakland Sassy Family for making our latest swap a success! We were in a new location (Oakland Baha'i Center in Fruitvale) and with a new coordinator (Sarah Scarbrough) and we still attracted new crowds. This time the swap received tons of books, which will be donated, along with clothes to our partners at Loved Twice and other organizations. You can check out the picture on our photo page.
Sassy Family feels good that we are able to maintain our relationship with the East Bay Area community. Since our founder, Erica, moved in July, there was a little worry about whether the swaps and the craft fairs could keep going. However, we see that there is still a need and Sassy Family still has fans, so more than enough reason to keep these events going.
Look out for the next East Bay swap in mid-January!
